Join us for some good old fashioned fun at Port Solent’s Retro Rewind festival on Saturday 27 July.
From learning how to swing dance with the Swing Dance Company to jumping and jiving to retro and rock ‘n’ roll bands, lovers of all things from the past can enjoy what’s on offer at Port Solent’s first Retro Rewind festival this summer.
We have an exciting addition from Gracie-Ann's Tea Room, which will be hosting an outdoor vintage afternoon tea with sittings at 2-3:30pm and 4-5:30pm and will also be joined by the Vintage Sweethearts performing nostalgic music from the world of the 40's and 50's.The cost for the afternoon tea is £16 per person and will include Prosecco, tea, a selection of sandwiches, scone with cream and jam and a cake selection. You’ll find a market with vintage stalls and a brilliant display of classic and vintage cars. Plus, fantastically fun, 8ft tall, Bridie the Tea Lady, who previously featured on Britain’s Got Talent, will be dancing with her cake trolley alongside a traditional Punch and Judy show.
So, recreate your favourite pin-up look, comb that quiff, and grab your dancing shoes for a fun-filled day of nostalgia.
