Bringing you the 80s, 90s through to today’s cutting edge sounds, Kojak’s Revenge’s live performances are legendary. Close your eyes and you could almost be listening to your favourite band… open them and it could just be better than the real thing! Breathtaking, electric, frenetic and spellbinding… just some of the praise heaped on them by fans.
Pompey’s premier 4-piece cover band, The Targets play a wide range of classic and contemporary guitar anthems and at Port Solent we’ll be treated to their repertoire of 60s and Mod Classics in the unique venue of the Boardwalk at Port Solent.
‘Soul, Funk & Disco’ on Monday, 25th May – 12-4pm
The Freestyle Funk Collective
Sure to get any audience on their feet and feeling funky, The Freestyle Funk Collective is an amazingly talented funk and soul group from Southsea. Their tunes are drawn from a wide range of classics and influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Joss Stone & Prince. Their biggest testimony is said to be the dance floor… it is never empty!
The Blues Brothers by The Disco Divas
Highly experienced vocalists and performers, Debbie Cobbett and Karen Barnett have created a brand new truly unique show which wows audiences. Traditionally a male tribute act, with The Blues Brothers they’ve decided to mix it up a little. Black suits, hats and sunglasses take centre stage for their high-energy tribute to Jake & Elwood Blues. Featuring classic hits from the films and live shows including ‘Everybody Needs Somebody’ and ‘Sweet Home Chicago’, this whirlwind of entertainment will provide a guaranteed afternoon to remember.
Our popular Waterside Sunday Markets are back between 11am-5pm on the first and third Sunday of the month.
