Spring Craft Market - PRESS RELEASE |
The Port Solent Spring Craft Market - Saturday 19th March 2011
Find a breath of fresh air this spring.......
Port Solent is celebrating the end of the long cold winter with a unique craft market to mark the start of the spring season. Dust off those winter cobwebs on Saturday 19th March from 11am until 5pm. Whether it’s your home, wardrobe or even the contents of your kitchen cupboard that needs a new lease of life this spring, our local independent traders will have something for everyone, from shabby chic home interiors to hand-made chocolates, fudge and truffles, to soaps, jewellery and art.
While you shop in style by the beautiful waterside, be entertained by the eccentric stilt-walking trolley lady Bridie and Sonny and Rainbow the flowerpot men. What more could you want for a fun day out for the whole family!
Port Solent Centre Manager Samantha Golden said “Our customers tell us they love nothing more than pottering around the marina, so we’ve created a unique specialist waterside shopping experience that the whole family can enjoy together.”
Full details of the event can be found on the Port Solent website www.portsolent.com and you can now keep up to date with all of the free events at The Boardwalk by following Port Solent on Facebook. Call the Centre Management office on 02392 210606 for more details.
Ends.
