Easter at Port Solent - PRESS RELEASE

From Wednesday 13th April – Monday 2nd May 2011
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away.....

There was a place where children could play,
Where Medieval Knights came back to life,
Ready to do battle for St George’s Day.

Where donkeys could be ridden around the waterside,
And Easter Eggs hunted, far and wide.
Where animals could be petted in the zoo,
And Mums, well they could browse the lovely market stalls, too.

Port Solent has something for everyone this Easter. If you’re looking for free ways to fill the long Easter break, bring the kids along to the Port Solent Kidz Club, every Wednesday and Saturday of the school holidays, where you’ll find plenty of free lively children’s entertainment. For animal lovers, there’ll be animal antics throughout Easter, in every form, with donkeys and birds of prey, fluffy petting farms and slippery reptile farms.

And join us at the Port Solent English Festival to celebrate St George’s Day on Saturday 23rd April, where you can browse the many stalls of our local craft market, watch live Medieval knights battle scenes and enjoy traditional English folk music.
